BurglaryRESPOND ™ is the 21st century solution to threats of burglary, theft, and vandalism in businesses, schools, churches, and factories.
The threat of theft is a fact of life for many organizations. Options for preventing theft have been limited to static alarm systems that sound an alarm and notify the alarm company when a break-in occurs. Sensors in these systems are activated when a door or window opens, glass breaks, or a sensor detects motion. Many systems have video survelliance that can be viewed by security in the building and recorded for review by the authorities.
Apprehension of the burglar is limited by several factors in these systems. The alarm indicates the point of entry but not the location of the intruder. Video survelliance can be used to track the path of the burglar, but only personnel in the building at the security station can view the video. The time between the moment the intruder trips the alarm, the alarm company verifies the alarm with the facility, the alarm company contacts the police, and the police respond can easily be enough for the burglar to steal from you and exit the building before the police arrive.
BurglaryRESPOND ™ greatly increases the chance of apprehending the burglar by networking your security system data with the police. The system contacts the police directly when the intruder trips the alarm. It sends live video feeds and motion detection data to the police, so they can view the information on a computer or laptop in real time. Since the police can see this information on remote computers, they can create a plan to catch the intruder while en route to the facility. Once there, they can safely track the burglar, using their computers, and apprehend him.
During an extended crisis with an intruder or burglar, building management or security personnel will need to communicate with staff, clients, or students. Using the crisis management software in the system, management can coordinate emergency response plans and send evacuation notices through phones or email. They can access the system from any computer terminal with internet access, so they can use it from a safe location.
